    TouristFam does not sell your personal data. We collect only what is needed to provide trip planning recommendations and improve our service.
  

What we collect

When you use TouristFam, we may collect:

Trip planning inputs — departure cities, travel dates, group size, and trip preferences you enter into the planner. These are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate recommendations and are not stored on our servers.
Email address — if you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter or email results to yourself.
Analytics data — anonymised usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, session duration, general location). No personally identifiable information is stored.
Cookies — session cookies used to remember your preferences during a visit. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

Third-party services

TouristFam uses the following third-party services that may process data:

Anthropic Claude API — processes your trip inputs to generate recommendations. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics — anonymised site analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Pexels — destination photos loaded from Pexels CDN.
Affiliate partners — when you click a booking or credit card link, you visit a third-party site with its own privacy policy.

Data retention

Trip planning inputs are not stored by TouristFam. Email addresses for newsletter subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 26 months per Google Analytics defaults.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email us at hello@touristfam.com.

Children

TouristFam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of TouristFam after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
